NEW DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT SERVICE RECEIVES TICK OF APPROVAL FROM GOVERNMENT

Joblife Employment’s Sunshine Coast office has achieved the highest approval from the Australian Government with a five-star rating for its performance in placing job seekers with disability into employment and training.

Almost half of all clients registered with Joblife on the Sunshine Coast have either commenced employment or entered into further study directly leading to employment.  

Regional Team Leader, Heath Doman, believes the flexibility of Joblife’s model has assisted in working more hands on with clients and employers to get better outcomes.

 “We provide genuine care and support for our clients while helping to identify pathways to employment,” he said.

“As Joblife is smaller, I feel we can be more personable, adaptable and from day one provide ongoing support for our clients and their employers. We understand the importance for everyone to have the opportunity to secure stable and suitable employment and the positive impact this then has on the wider Sunshine Coast community.

“We have an amazing team on the Sunshine Coast with Alex Nguyen, Matt Cullen and Helen Hilgers, all who are very customer focussed in everything they do.”

The government’s rating system is published each quarter and measures the success of employment providers in helping job seekers to find and keep a job. A five-star rating is the highest score achievable.

Joblife Employment is a joint partnership between Australia’s largest social purpose organisation, Life Without Barriers and five start disability employment service, Jobfind. Joblife Employment commenced operations on 1 July 2018.
